
With everyone getting creative with cocktails during quarantine I decided to jump on the bandwagon, but in my own way since I’m not a big drinker. So without further ado, I introduce Mocktail Hour: All the fun of cocktail hour, without the hangover!
My first mocktail is the Strawberry Basil Smash, it’s super simple and made from farm fresh ingredients.
Below is the list of ingredients for one mocktail, just mix and smash them together, add ice and sparkling water or a flavored seltzer of your choice, garnish with lemon, and enjoy. So easy and so refreshing!
- 3 strawberries
- 4 basil leaves
- 0.5 oz of simple syrup, or more depending on your sweetness preference
- 1.5 cups of sparkling water or flavored seltzer
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 wedge of fresh lemon to garnish
